Amazon India’s ‘Online Diwali Dhamaka Week Sale’ has failed to generate the kind of excitement created by its competitor Flipkart during its day-long ‘Big Billion Day’ sale on Monday even though the online retailer put a mass of products on good discounts for indian buyers.
The social media people didn’t seem to be interested with talk about the Amazon sale. In fact, unlike Flipkart sale, the US based e-tailer’s offer and discount week was not even trending on Twitter and facebook.
“Amazon.in Diwali Dhamaka sale flops as Amazon India site crashes, Poor deals,” Anuj Gupta tweeted on twitter today.
Poor response to the sale happened even though the e-retailer offered rewarding deals to customers across more than 32 categories with discounts going up to 60% to 70% in products like mobile phones, laptops, shoes, toys, books, clothes and watches.
